Le Col - Wahoo is excited to announce that Jesse Vandenbulcke will be staying with the team for another two years. The former Belgian national champ brings a wealth of experience and talent to the squad, and has impressed during her debut season with Le Col - Wahoo with a top 20 in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and top 10s in the RideLondon Classique.

“I’m remaining with this team and having a lot of fun on and off the bike," said Jesse. "The atmosphere here is really nice, and we make each other better by being direct about what we want and speaking our minds. It's all about the details to become the best cyclist possible.

"It's a professional team overall, on and off the bike. That's why my motivation level is so high, and I have trust in this team. For sure, I am happy to extend my contract."

A positive team environment is key to keeping riders happy and realising their full potential, particularly when the team takes on WorldTour races like The Women’s Tour and the Tour de France Femmes.

Le Col - Wahoo’s general manager, Tom Varney, had this to say about the extension.

“Jesse is a valued member of the team whose experience in top level racing has been beneficial to the way we compete. She possesses great leadership skills on and off the road, and is goal oriented and dedicated to becoming the best person and bike racer she can be. We’re excited to have her on board for another two years as we develop as a team.”

Jesse's contract extension will help to bolster the team's strength and depth as she excels in both one-day and stage races, not to mention as an invaluable domestique for GC leaders on hillier stage races.
